Goal
One of the latest examples of Karu’s hometown’s dynamic development is the Hiedanranta district, which is becoming Tampere’s western hub. Located along the newly opened tram route, Hiedanranta is full of culture, events, and unique history—and in the future, it will also offer distinctive housing.
The area’s diverse events and wide range of opportunities call for marketing materials that work across multiple channels. We’ve had the chance to follow the district’s development and experiences through photography and video. In addition, we designed and produced the area’s brand film.
Execution
Throughout the summer, we documented Hiedanranta’s events and progress, capturing thousands of photos and video clips from garden parties to the Hiedanranta staff and the opening of the street art park. This material will be used long-term for the area’s marketing.
The package also included the planning and production of the brand film. The film blends together a variety of summer materials—from photos and videos to atmospheric shots on film cameras. We wanted the production to reflect the blend of old and new, just like the Hiedanranta area itself. We illustrated future living with the help of performers and filming locations that embody Hiedanranta’s unique style. The final touch was an edit shaped by Hiedanranta’s brand identity, bringing the area’s distinctive atmosphere to life.
