Goal

PrimaCat’s range of cat food includes favorites for both adult cats and younger felines. This time, Karu’s task was to ideate and create video ads as well as a comprehensive bank of still images for PrimaCat’s kitten food. The publishing channels were equally broad: the material was to be used for TV distribution, digital platforms, social media, websites, and print.

Execution

We honored the brand’s stylish look by using PrimaCat’s signature pink studio world. For the kittens, we designed a miniature city of their own—one they could conquer just as surely as the viewers’ hearts. Since cats are unpredictable subjects, the filming environment was kept as calm and stress-free as possible. The kittens were free to romp around their little city while the crew stood by, ready to capture the moments as they unfolded.

In post-production, the results were crafted into cohesive final pieces. The videos were given an extra edge with attitude-filled music, creating a fun contrast with the cuteness of the fluffy kittens.

Because filming cats is such a fun and engaging process, we also created plenty of behind-the-scenes style social media clips during production. From this material—produced together with PessiMedia—a TikTok ad was made, following the platform’s native style, along with other short videos capturing the playful mood of the shoot.
